The Computer Science Department does not keep private information in this
web site. Grades and other information generated and maintained by
faculty are kept on different computers and are fully protected.
We do not solicit private information about students or potential
students, nor do we sell or trade email lists.
The only time we would pass your email or contact information (telephone
number, address) on to someone else at the college is if you request it
and you want further information, such as a Viewbook from Admissions.
The Computer Science Department complies with all state, federal and
local laws regarding policy, including FERPA (Family Education Rights and
Privacy Act.) We adhere to guidelines set forth by Canisius College.
We reserve the right to edit or restrict information that alumni post
on this website.
The website content of individual faculty or staff
members is not subject to censorship by the department or college and
is protected by the AAUP rules of academic freedom.
