Robotran

Currently our main software product is Robotran, which is a translator and simulator for the LEGO Mindstorms RCX penbot. Embedded within Robotran is the Robolang language, a simple block-structured language used in CSC 109 and CSC 110. Robotran compiles Robolang programs into Lejos so they can be compiled and downloaded to a real RCX. We are also working on a graphical simulator.

Here are the versions of Robotran that are available.

Much older versions

  • Version 17 -- a slight improvement (Aug. 2006)
CSC 110 students, use this version!
  • Version 18 -- Oct. 18, 2006
This is the one where you can rearchitect the penbot and will be useful for the November competition.
  • Version 20 -- Nov. 21, 2006
Several important fixes, including the addition of a power statement.

The simulator version should be coming out soon.

Mark Meyer's Lejos Programs

Mark's NXT Lejos programs -- some of these were written by Mark, and some by Myles McNally and others. We worked through a lot of these at the OleMiss Workshop in June 2007.

Dylan Cali's NXT-G programs

All of these are NXT-G program files and are not readable except if you have the LEGO NXT-G software installed. The extension is .rbt.

Zach Izard's NXC programs
